“There are many beautiful historic buildings across the city, and this illustration of Granby Street includes a depiction of The Grand Hotel, which is one of the Victorian buildings in the city. It was built by two local architects in the 1890’s, and stood out to me for its distinctive style and warm burnt orange colour.

Leicester is my hometown and I am often inspired by the diverse culture and architecture here, capturing city life with my expressive line drawings. My current work aims to connect people with their local communities and the spaces that surround them, highlighting the beauty of both natural and urban environments. Encouraging people to enjoy and look after these spaces.”
